Call for Bookings: Book a Rwandan music group for your events
“HUZA – Rwanda-Germany Fusion” is a music project by a classical pianist and young artists from Rwanda. It was supported by the Goethe-Institut’s International Co-Production Fund, recently premiered in Rwanda, and will also be performed in Germany in April: The group has two performances in Baden-Württemberg (Esslingen on April 23 and Freiburg on April 25). In addition, the artists welcome event inquiries for the month of April—if interested, please contact Anisha Soff from the Goethe-Institut Kigali.
“Iteka Drummers Cultural Exchange Tour” is another group of artists consisting of 7 Rwandan and 5 European drummers who will be in Germany from July 7 to August 9. From July 7 to 20, the group will be in Trier, where they will perform at various venues. The tour will conclude with a performance at the “African Music Festival” in Emmendingen, which runs from August 7 to 9, before the group returns to Rwanda. Between their scheduled performances (July 20–August 7), they welcome opportunities for collaboration and performance requests.
