After-Work-Abend am 7. Juli 2022
The 40th anniversary of the Rhineland-Palatinate - Rwanda partnership will be the focus of an after-work evening on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 6 p.m. to mark the 75th anniversary of the state. Information, entertainment and culinary specialties from Rwanda are integrated into a colourful program.
The event in the “Mainzer KulturGärten” at the Electoral Palace will be opened by the Rwandan drumming group “Umucyo.” In a talk round, Interior Minister Roger Lewentz, Rwandan Ambassador Igor César and Norbert Neuser, President of the Partnership Association, will discuss the past four decades and the future of the grassroots partnership. German-Rwandan singer Babo will round off the summer evening for a relaxed meeting with colleagues and friends.
