The selection includes a wide range of books that provide in-depth insights into the history, culture and political development of Rwanda and also address its historical relationship with Europe and the effects of the colonial era.

Johnson, Dominic; Schlindwein, Simone; Schmolze, Bianca: Crime Scene Congo: Trial in Germany. The crimes of the Rwandan militia FDLR and the attempt at legal processing. The book leads from the dock in a German courtroom to Rwanda and eastern Congo. It concerns the Hutu militia FDLR, in which the perpetrators of the 1994 Rwandan genocide have reorganized themselves.
