Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.
Most cookies we use are so-called session cookies. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can configure your browser so that you are informed about cookie placement, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies required for electronic communication processes or to provide certain functions you request (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for technically error-free and optimized service provision. Other cookies (e.g., for analyzing your browsing behavior) are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server Log Files
The provider of the site automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
These data are not merged with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website – which requires recording server log files.
Contact Form
When you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, are stored to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. These data will not be shared without your consent.
Processing of the data entered in the contact form occurs solely based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by informal email notification. The legality of the data processing until revocation remains unaffected.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request deletion, revoke consent, or the purpose for data storage ceases (e.g., after completion of your request). Mandatory legal provisions, particularly retention periods, remain unaffected.
Requests via Email, Phone, or Fax
When you contact us by email, phone, or fax, your request, including any personal data contained therein (name, request), will be stored and processed to handle your request. These data are not shared without your consent.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or necessary for pre-contractual measures. In other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) and/or our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) in the effective handling of inquiries.
The data you transmit to us remains with us until you request deletion, revoke consent, or the purpose ceases. Mandatory legal provisions, particularly retention periods, remain unaffected.
4. Social Media
Facebook Plugins (Like & Share Button)
Our pages integrate plugins from the social network Facebook, provided by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Facebook plugins are identifiable by the Facebook logo or “Like” button on our site. An overview of Facebook plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/?locale=de_DE
When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. Facebook thus receives information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, the content of our pages can be linked to your Facebook profile. We do not receive information about the content of the data transmitted or its use by Facebook. More information can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation
If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit with your Facebook account, log out of Facebook before visiting our site.
Use of Facebook plugins is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in maximum visibility in social media.
5. Plugins and Tools
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to ensure uniform font display. Google Fonts are installed locally. No connection to Google servers occurs.
Google Maps (with Consent)
This site uses the Google Maps service via an API. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To protect your data, Google Maps is disabled when you first visit our website. A connection to Google servers is only established once you activate Google Maps (consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
After activation, Google Maps will store your IP address, which is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA. The site operator has no influence on this data transmission after activation.
More information on handling user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privac
