Information about the Fair Play Tour 2026

The Greater Region Fair Play Tour is a cycling tour for schoolchildren and young people through the Greater Region and has been organized since 1999 by Eurosportpool in collaboration with the European Sports Academy in Trier.
During the week of June 21–26, young people from Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Lorraine will hop on their bikes to cycle approximately 500 kilometers together through the Greater Region.
In doing so, they advocate for fairness, cross-border cooperation, and open borders, while also making an active contribution to development cooperation.
The organizers of the Fairplay Tour aim to raise awareness among the young people regarding several goals. These goals include treating one another fairly, collaborating within and getting to know the Greater Region, and engaging with development cooperation projects.
On the six-day bike tour—which is not a race but is completed as a team—the rule is: The stronger riders help the weaker ones, whether by offering encouragement or giving them a push up the hill.
