Ten Years of Partnership Between the Trier New Year’s Eve Run and Rwanda Athletics

In 2026, the partnership between the Silvesterlauf Trier association and the Rwandan athletics federation, Rwanda Athletics, will celebrate its tenth anniversary. To mark the occasion, Silvesterlauf Trier, together with its partners, is organizing an extensive anniversary program centered around the Trier City Run on June 26–28, 2026.

Highlights will include the participation of top Rwandan athletes such as Emeline “Emmi” Imanizabayo and Florence Niyonkuru, an official ceremony, and events celebrating the long-standing athletic and partnership cooperation between Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda.
